Biomedical Engineering

Jesús Lázaro was born in Guadalajara, Spain, in 1984. He received the M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering, the Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Zaragoza, Zaragoza, Spain, in 2011, 2012 and 2015, respectively.

He is currently working at the Department of Electrical Engineering of University of Connecticut (Storrs CT, USA) and with the Aragón Institute of Engineering Research of University of Zaragoza (Zaragoza, Spain). His current research interests include the field of biomedical signal processing, especially in the analysis of electrocardiographic and pulse photoplethysmographic signals for quantification of cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
